Our goal is to come alongside you, the parents, and help train up your children in the way they should go. We would love to get to know you, so please come and meet us when you drop off or pick up your students!

He enjoys spending time with his family, fellowshipping with other believers, worshiping the Lord, home projects, working out, and short-term missions.  For more on his bio, please go to the church leadership link.

  • Vera Wong, EPIC

Vera served in youth ministry at LHBC before having children and is excited to have returned to youth ministry after a ten year hiatus. She enjoys the energy and different perspectives the youths bring. Vera became a Christian in high school and recognizes the challenges teens face to live a Godly life in today's society. In her spare time, Vera loves to spend time with her husband Wil, and their three children, reading and cheering for her soccer sons, daughter, the Huskies, and the Seahawks.

Bessy was born in Taiwan and grew up in Washington.  She came to know and love the Lord in middle school through God's grace and faithful teachers and youth counselors.  She works as a nurse, enjoys spending time with friends & family, fellowshipping with other believers, spending time outdoors, traveling, cooking & baking, and helping others.  Returning to youth ministry since attending LHBC, she looks forward to encouraging the youth and seeing them grow in their walks with the Lord.

Ted is passionate about youth ministry and has served in various ministries at Living Hope Bible Church, from the high school group, college group, and now the middle school group. He was born in Taiwan, went to elementary school in Tucson, AZ, and then went back to Taiwan for middle and high school, where he accepted Christ as Lord and Savior. After receiving his PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, he and his wife Alice moved to Seattle in 2008, where he now works as a program manager at Microsoft.  He and his wife enjoy spending time with their daughter and son in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

  • vivian chow, swat

Vivian started attending church in elementary school and came to Christ in 8th grade at a Christian youth retreat. By God's grace, she developed a heart for the youth after she finished college, and has worked with middle school, high school, and college students. Her desire is to see them grow in their own relationship with the Lord, and to mature spiritually as they become young adults. Vivian has served in youth ministry for many years, both at LHBC and at her previous church, and decided about four years ago to take a break after the birth of her youngest child. She gives thanks to God for the opportunity now to return to youth ministry for a short while. Vivian is married to Victor Chow, and they have three children. She enjoys spending time with family, serving in ministry, eating yummy food, and watching movies.
