What is Online Giving?
Online giving is an alternate way for you to make your contributions to Living Hope Bible Church through the church’s website. LHBC has the option of online giving via bank account transfer (ACH) for both one-time and recurring giving. Credit and debit cards are not accepted at this time.
Is Online Giving safe?
Online giving is safer than writing checks because it cannot be lost in the mail or stolen by someone. You have the option of saving your bank account information securely for future transactions.
How does Online Giving work?
You can make a one-time or recurring gift to the church using the form provided, where you will enter your bank information and specify the amount you wish to give. Once you click Give to authorize the transaction, your specified amount will be transferred directly from your bank account to the church’s account.
Will I pay any additional fees if I use Online Giving?
No, you will not be charged any additional fees. However, LHBC will pay a small fee per transaction.
Can I specify how my gift will be used?
Currently, LHBC has two separate funds—the General fund and the Building fund. You will need to fill out separate forms to give to each fund.
If you wish to store your account information for future use, you will need to create a separate account for each of these funds.
Note: You may use the same email address to set up both of these accounts.
When will the amount be deducted from my account?
Around 2 to 3 business days from the time the transaction was completed.
If you set up recurring giving, you can specify the date the transaction should be processed.
Will I get a statement of all my online transactions?
Yes. LHBC will send you an annual statement with both your online and in-person giving information. You will get an email receipt for each of your online transactions.
Can I review all of my donations online, including what I gave at church?
No. The only transactions you can view online are the ones that were completed online. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (425)-587-1232 for complete giving information.
Can anyone who works at the church see my account info?
No. No one at the church has access to your bank account. Only members of the LHBC Finance team have access to your online giving history.
What if I forget my account password?
If you forget your password, click on the “Forgot password?” link at the bottom of the Sign-in screen. You can then enter your email address, and you will be prompted to reset your account password.
How do I change bank accounts?
You can update your bank information when you complete your next online giving transaction. Or, you can sign in to your account, click Manage Your Account and update your bank account details under the “Your Information” section.
Can I set up to give automatically on a periodic basis?
You can choose to have your recurring giving set up on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule. You also have the option to set up an end date for your automatic recurring transactions.
