reopening lhbc in-person worship

Psalm 48:1a, "Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised..."

We are thankful to the Lord for the opportunity to worship in-person at LHBC once again. We will follow the guidelines put forth by the Governor. While we can worship in-person again, we do encourage those who are elderly, have underlying health conditions, are immune compromised, or have other concerns, to continue to worship via livestream at home.

Registration required for Sunday Outdoor Worship Services. Registration link opens Wednesday night or when the e-news is published.

  4. Sanitation, Building & Restroom Access

Rain or shine, the 10:30AM Worship Service will be outside at Living Hope Bible Church. If attending, please check the forecast and plan and dress appropriately so you can stay as warm and dry as possible.

  • requirements for attendance

For those who desire to come, you must consent to the following requirements and agree to comply with requests by LHBC staff and volunteers who want everyone to be safe and healthy while worshipping together. To help us comply with the Governor's order:

    1. Face coverings must always be worn before, during, and after service except for those with special disabilities or respiratory issues, the deaf, or children under 2 years of age.
    2. Pre-register and complete a COVID-19 Active Screening Questionnaire that will appear during registration.
    3. Agree to stay home if you or any member of your family is ill or potentially ill. Anyone with a household member who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or with symptoms of COVID-19 (including a fever above 100.4 F) may not attend.
    4. Agree to adhere to the physical distancing requirements. (We will have six feet of space between rows and seats, but members of the same household may be seated together as a single unit. We will be reconfiguring seat spacing as attenders arrive.)
  • registration

All attendees will be required to pre-register in order to keep our attendance in compliance with requirements. Once we have reached the capacity cap, registration will close and you cannot register. If you are not registered, please do not come. We are working on setting up a waiting list as well, so if seats open we can contact you. None of your information will be shared with the government for tracing purposes unless expressly permitted by the registrant (or by parent or guardian).

During the registration process, you will need to answer a COVID-19 Active Screen Questionnaire for each person you are registering.

  • parking

Due to the outdoor seating arrangement, we will be redirecting the flow of traffic and parking. Please follow the signs and direction from parking lot attendants.

  • sanitation, building & restroom access

    1. Everyone will have access to sinks, soap, and running water. Restrooms will be available for use, however, we are limiting access to one person at a time (unless it is a parent & child together) to adhere to social distancing requirements. For each person using the restroom, we ask that you follow the Cleaning Checklist to clean after each use. Checklist is available in each restroom. Parents, please accompany your child to the restroom and guide them through the Cleaning Checklist.
    2. If building access is needed, entrance and exit will be through the doors at the front of the church. Please follow signage, respect boundaries, and comply with requests from LHBC staff and volunteers.
    3. It is BYOB - Bring Your Own Bottle. We will not be providing bottled water and water fountains will be closed.
    4. The building will NOT be available for fellowship before or after church at time time and no food will be served. The building is closed after Sunday Worship.
